Democratic "Tell the Truth" Ads
Probably everyone has heard that the DNC produced an ad that selectively quoted Bush's SOTU speech and his allegations about African uranium. Well, it has trickled down to my house in the form of a fund-raising letter. We heard every day in the news about "those sixteen words." Well, with an admirable economy of words, the DNC got it down to ten words.

"...SADDAM HUSSEIN RECENTLY SOUGHT SIGNIFICANT QUANTITIES OF URANIUM FROM AFRICA."
THAT'S WHAT THE PRESIDENT TOLD US. AND WE TOOK HIM AT HIS WORD. BUT, NOW WE FIND OUT THAT IT WASN'T TRUE.
THE CIA KNEW IT. THE STATE DEPARTMENT KNEW IT. THE WHITE HOUSE KNEW IT.

"But, now?" Not very good writing. At least they put the ellipses in. And you know they are sincere since it is in all caps. Let's see, where did I put my circular file?
